Solemn played what he had sad over and over in his head. Almost sure it wasn't the wrong thing to say he sighed relieved when she said thank you. "Douatashimashite..." he said instinctively then perked up a bit. "I mean, you're welcome." he felt stupid for letting the little Japanese he knew slip. A year of Japanese hadn't taught him much but he still loved speaking it when ever he got the chance. His thoughts shifted back to October. Her skins cold could be felt from this distance against his warm, human skin. He sighed softly as he felt a drop land on his palm. He looked to see the storm clouds rolling over faster than he expected. He was surprised to hear she thought he would leave just cause it was going to rain. "If we get a tornado then I am out of here." he said laughing deep in his chest with a cheesy smile on his face. "Can I have a cigarette?" he asked a little of topic. "I want one before it rains to hard to have one later." he said as he looked up and fiddled with the outline of a lighter on his pants.

"Douatashimashite...I mean, your welcome."
October knew what he ment before he translated. Hearing the familiar language made her heart slow down a bit, but not much. She missed hearing her mother and her sister Emily speaking Japanese together with October. And she also missed her father's voice when she heard him speak French in his soft soothing tone. From that she learned to speak mainly French and Japanese around her house until her aunt Claire came to live with them. Because since then she's been having to learn perfect English to be able to talk to her aunt. Not that she really talked to her much anyways.
"If we get a tornado then I am out of here. Can I have a cigarette?"
October laughed quietly as Solemn spoke and laughed right after that. Sure. She handed him a cigarette and then took out her small onyx covered lighter. Taking one out for herself she quickly lit it up then handed the lighter to Solemn. She could feel more drops coming down on her face. October looked up at the dark gray sky as another drop landed into her eye and fell down her face like a tear. She smiled to herself then looked back at Solemn.

Solemn took the cigarette and held his hand up to her lighter. "I got it, thank you." he smiled pulling out a lighter, an older one. Vines and leaves carved into the metal casing and a flip open head. He held his hand around it blocking the slight breeze. He leaned back on the bench and sighed out the smoke he had sucked in. "Thanks....again." he smiled and looked up. He could feel more rain drops hitting him face and arms and saw it speckle his clothing. "Looks like we are really in for it." he said referring to the fact that it was more than likely going to be pouring soon. He didn't once pull the cigarette from his mouth the first few puffs, holding with his lips as he sucked in and out. He turned his gaze to October. "So....What are you doing out here anyways?" he asked. It hadn't come to his mind till now and he was utterly interested as to why a girl would be alone out here. That thought only led to the fact that she wasn't like other girls so she pronely wasn't in any danger. If anyone was in danger here it was him and he laughed aloud to his thoughts.

"So....What are you doing out here anyways?"
October's body quickly went stiff then she relaxed. She had completely forgotten why she came out to the park. The burning in the back of her throat grew more and more. She gripped the seat of the bench and held onto it as hard as she could without breaking it. Well I... she said quietly. She wasn't sure how to tell him why she was there, if he'd understand or if he would come up with some excuse and leave her there. Looking down at the floor October finally summed up the courage to speak. "Well...actually I came out here originally to feed...But now I suppose now it's just to watch the scenery" She wouldn't let herself look up to see his reaction, but she did loosen her grip on the bench.

Solemn looked forward indifferently as she spoke. Surprised a little he looked over to her to see her staring away and he smiled warmly. "I see." he chuckled deep in his chest and looked forward again. "Well since we are in the rain and enjoying the 'scenery' I am not in any danger." he smirked to himself and though to himself for a long moment. -Well she isn't human, I already knew that. Hopefully she doesn't get to tempted.- "Yet..." he spoke half heartedly.
He felt the stress in how she was sitting and he placed a hand on hers. Her icy skin under his own hot palm sent shivers down his spine and he grinned helplessly. "What did you think I was gunna freak out and run away screaming?" he waited for her to look at him and make a face as if he was frightened for his life.

"I see. Well since we are in the rain and enjoying the 'scenery' I am not in any danger. Yet..."
October heard him laugh for a moment, as she tried her best to keep her eyes on the lake. It started to rain a bit hearder, but not by much; although the feel of the wind was like ice on her skin. The freezing rain felt like acid on her skin as she sat there listening to the rain drop onto the dak watersof the lake. Ocotober could also hear the almost silent breathing of Solemn next to her, which didn'thelp her hunger much. His words rang in her ears like a chrurch bell.
"What did you think I was gunna freak out and run away screaming?"
The next thing she knew, his hand was on hers and she could feel his body heat more intencly now. She could feel his eyes on hers which made her look up into his. "I wasn't all too sure," she said quietly. Almost too quietly which made her unsure if he could hear her or not. Without thinking october stood up off the bench, slipped he shoes off, then walked over to the edge of te lake. Sticking her feet into it's cool waters she took in a deep breath of air through her mouth, trying to get a sense of when the rain would let up or not. Her dark, wet hair stuck to her forehead, cheaks, and neck in small baby curls.

"Well I wouldn't run." he simply answered quietly and watched as she left him sitting on the bench. Her cold hand slipping out from under his onto the bench which about as cold, but not the same. He couldn't decide if he had done something wrong or if she was just trying to get away from him....for some odd reason. He didn't understand but he sat there quietly watching her for a long moment and raised his head to look into the sky. Water pelted his face more and more his blue eyes somewhat confused as he scanned the clouds and then looked to Oct again. Her hair was wet now from the rain as was his and he shook his head making some of the water fling out of it and he sat pondering again, twitching his hand around on the bench imagining her hand still under his and he wondered what she was thinking and why.

"Well I wouldn't run."
"Well I figured as much. I'm just, not all too used to people being around me. Mostly due to my past and such," she spoke a bit e loudly then nessicary. The image of her father sending her off popped u into her head making her eyes to turn darker and almost a pure black. She looked back toward him for a moment looing at nothing but his eyes. Sine she knew that mos people showed their emotions in their eyes thats where she always looked. It was a rather good cheatsheet when it came to figuing out what a person wanted to say, but didn't. Or what they felt or werethinking. October's eyes gavenohting away, although et they were black now they just kep a serious sense.

"Well I tend to shove people away." he spoke moving so that he was laying on his back on the bench with one knee up and his hands behind his head. He laid there and closed his eyes after a long moment and let the rain start to soak his cloths. "I don't think I'll do that to you." he said after a long pause and smiled to himself. "You are far to interesting." he spoke thinking over her looks and what she was it made him want to know everything about her. Aside from all that there was an edge to who she was. She wasn't just some thing he wanted to learn about, but someone he wanted to know. There was something in the way she was and who she was that caught his attention.
