For Marvolo the word friends doesn't mean nothing. He doesn't consider anyone as his friends. But an ally... That's what really means something to Marvolo. He knows you can survive without having allies, someone you can turn to when the life is cruel and you need help. Someone you know will help but maybe not because the person wants but because the person has to. Marvolo needs someone who understands his weird way of thinking. Someone Marvolo parties with all night.
It could be anyone. Or maybe not anyone¡ Marvolo is not friends with Muggleborns and most of the Half-bloods. But if you're a cool half-blood and is a person Marvolo could respect they could be friends.

You need enemies to keep living. Marvolo is a person you easily hate unless you share some of his ideas or just have to like him. Marvolo is stuck in his opinions and he is not changing them. He has many enemies and secret enemies.

Marvolo doesn't believe in true love. He doesn't believe love exists at all. He has many love affairs and he is never loyal more than week. Then he gets bored. His relationships are nothing but sex to him, never anything emotional. Marvolo is to girls and guys though the guy thing isn't something he brags about.
