i noticed that after people reserve a character it's just left there, their post and everything. well my suggestion for that is just to have the admin account post one more thing that you can modify and list the reservations in there. it makes things a whole lot neater and less cluttered!
second one involves a code. after you modify a post it shows when and by who did it and to get rid of that and, once again, make things neater you can't tell once the code is in place. here is where it can be found.
the third one would be to add a board where you can send owls? i have an example if you need it, but it's something i put on a site i run with a few other friends. it's merley just a board where you post in letter form to someone else and their reply is also in letter form, as if they're sending it back to you!
fourth would be to hide the accepted and pending applications from guests, make it so that only registered people can see them. i've seen cases where the applications been taken, like copied and pasted fully, and doing that limits the possibility of it being done randomly.
fifth, and most likley last, would be changing the rule of no middle names? it seems a lot of people aren't listening to it already and all. maybe make it so that all names have to be lower case with their full name? idk, it would make everyone match more. again, only suggestions.
(:
EDIT: ignore the first one!

Thank you for your suggestions. 1. I added the code, yeah. Thanks for it. 2. Hm, as of right now, I don't think I'll add that board for sending owls. I know what you mean, I'm on sites that have it. It's almost like those IM boards on high school sites and all. Right now, I don't think I should put that up. I don't want people to only post in that board. I mean, it can happen. I don't want most posts to happen in that board. Later on though, once we've reached a certain number of IC posts, I might just add it. 3. I made the accepted & incomplete/pending apps viewable to only members. Thank you. 4. Yes, about the whole name thing. I was going to edit the rules about that. Lol. Will do that now, thanks for reminding me.
Thanks for your suggestions, Shay. I appreciate them all <3

one last one, if it's not already set like this, is to have it so that posts are not added up in the section for games and fun. it makes people who post there not get there post count higher and all! it's acutally a really helpful thing, as you can tell the difference on actual roleplaying posts when seeing their count. (:

Yes, you know what. I was thinking of exactly that. But.. I just switched back to proboards from IF and I really am not familiar with these kinda things. Would you mind telling me how? : /

sure! so first off you obviously want to go to the admin panel. next you'll go to 'modify boards' and select it on the drop-down menu. when you scroll down there are options and one of them is 'disable post count' on that, just turn it to yes and it will not count whenever people post within the board! (:

<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- document.getElementsByTagName('td').item(2).style.display="none"; //--> </script> that will get the thing beside the banner to go away, so it's nice and even, if you'd like that to happen. it was found here & it goes in the global header.

More of a question-- but what about colors in posts. To differenciate action from speech? Just a thought...

Well those can be done on your own with your own colours. Just add the colours into your post when typing it out.

I figured. I was just asking if it was allowed, really. I don't see anyone else do it. Thanks!
