a small guide
for you lost people.
for you lost people.
NUMBER ONE[/size][/blockquote]
After registering an account on IT'S A MASQUERADE PARTY, go to your profile. There, you will see 'display name'. Your display now is currently you username, no? Well, change it to your desired character's name (only first & last name!).
Along with that, you may edit you avatar and signature and also the rest of your details.
NUMBER TWO
This should actually be number one but never mind. Read the rules and the plot. You are wrong if you think these two are not important. Read them through, understand them, they're not that hard to apply to, honestly. All common sense. Like, respect everybody, no spamming, etc ect.
NUMBER THREE
Once you've done that, you're ready to start roleplaying. Head on down to the applications board. There you will find your application template and the canon list. Read through the canon list. There are interesting characters you can play on there. Once you've picked which one you want to play, create a new thread and fill in the application template. Read the rules on applying!
When filling in your application, think detail. Describe your character well. We're looking for quality rather than quantity, yeah.
Once you've finished your template, be patient, an admin will look it over and then accept you.
NUMBER FOUR
Congratulations, you've been accepted. Does it feel good? Heh. Now, head over to the face claims and claim your play by, quick! No two characters are allowed to have the same face (if you can help it) unless they are identical twins. Also, there are no reservations for face claims so you might want to hurry up.
In the same board, you will find the employment list. This works exactly the same as the face claim, first come first serve. Claim your job, hurry!
NUMBER FIVE
All done? Yeah, I think those are the basics. Now, get your asses to the roleplay forums and type out a fucking brilliant post, will you?
* this is only for those very new to the rp world. if you know exactly what you're doing, great, skip this shit.
